Parklea’s Kaduna Park has been accredited as an EnviroDevelopment by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA).
The UDIA is Australia’s foremost representative body for the Urban Development industry and provides policies and solutions to improve Australia’s development.
As a member of UDIA, Parklea adheres to national development laws and policies such as the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. This act protects important flora, fauna, ecological communities and heritage places.
Forging new ground in the area, Kaduna Park is the first development in Officer South. Parklea is working in collaboration with the Cardinia Shire as part of their initiative to extend the Officer area. The estate is set to launch in 2017 and will comprise 760 lots, a display village and parklands.
Kaduna Park’s EnviroDevelopment accreditation forms part of the underlying vision for the development, and sets a benchmark for new communities within the Cardinia Shire. Parklea has been accredited with four EnviroDevelopment leaves and it is envisaged by the time Kaduna Park is released to market it will obtain all six, the first within the Cardinia Shire.
